No New Nukes at North Anna
NEW YORK, Oct 26 (Reuters) – Dominion Resources Inc’s 903-megawatt
Unit 1 at the North Anna nuclear power station in Virginia shut by
early Monday from full power early Friday, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission said in a report.

One of North Anna Power Station’s two nuclear reactors is shut down
because of contaminated-water leaks discovered Friday afternoon.
Unit 1 was still down yesterday, said Richard Zuercher, spokesman for
Dominion power’s nuclear operations.
